Facebook released the new targets alongside its annual diversity report, which details the ethnic and gender breakdown of its workforce. In the next five years, Facebook, the world’s largest social media company, aims to double the percentage of women working at the social media giant around the world, while simultaneously doubling the number of black and Hispanic employees in the US, setting new diversity goals for the organization. Apple, after struggling to overcome problems with the butterfly keyboard, the brand is planning to abandon the controversial “butterfly” keyboard used in its MacBooks since 2015. It will reportedly move to a new scissor-switch design which will use fibreglass to reinforce its keys. The first laptop to get the new keyboard will be a MacBook Air model due out later this year, followed by a new MacBook Pro in 2020.
