Hero MotoCorp has quietly expanded its popular commuter lineup by introducing a new single-seat variant of the Hero Xtreme 125R. Priced at ₹1 lakh (ex-showroom), the new variant sits between the base IBS trim and the split-seat ABS version.
With this update, the Xtreme 125R is now available in three options:
- Xtreme 125R IBS – ₹98,425 (ex-showroom)
- Xtreme 125R Single-Seat ABS – ₹1 lakh (ex-showroom)
- Xtreme 125R Split-Seat ABS – ₹1.02 lakh (ex-showroom)
Under the hood, the motorcycle features the tried-and-tested 124.7cc engine, which delivers 11.5 hp and 10.5 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The same engine also powers the recently launched Glamour X.
In terms of features, the Xtreme 125R gets a full LED lighting setup, Bluetooth-enabled digital cluster, and a first-in-segment single-channel ABS for enhanced safety.
Suspension duties are handled by 37 mm telescopic forks at the front and a hydraulic monoshock at the rear, while braking is managed by a 240 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum.
The bike features 17-inch wheels with 90/90-section tyres up front and 120/80-section tyres at the rear, providing a balanced stance and sporty appeal.
With the new single-seat ABS variant, Hero MotoCorp aims to give customers more choice while keeping the Xtreme 125R competitive in the 125cc segment.
