Gratitude! I am blessed to have some angels who crossed my path and made my life more special.
What’s the book that changed your life?
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. This book made me believe that when we really want something, the whole universe conspires to make it happen. `
What makes you laugh the most?
My husband. He makes me laugh all the time.
If you were a superhero, what powers would you have?
I would like to slow time down, so I would have more time to enjoy with my family.
If you could tell your younger self anything, what would it be?
Follow your heart and do not listen to the naysayers.
What inspired you to start writing?
I am constantly inspired, but my main sources of inspiration are my patients, nature, my travels and everyone I’ve met along the way.
What does literary success look like to you?
Literary success means writing about themes that are important to me. I published a series of children’s books entitled “Zoe The Crab” where I talk about the importance of inclusion, diversity and friendship. I also published this year another book entitled “Out of The Box” that shows how important is to preserve our planet.
As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?
I always dreamt about being a pediatrician, then I wanted to be an actress and also a painter. I am glad that I could treat children, participate in some plays and paint many canvas. I wish I had more walls in my house to hang them all.
What do you like to do when you are not writing?
I love to go to the beach with my paddle board, to play tennis, paint and spend time with my family and friends.
What are your guilty pleasures?
I love massage, that’s my favorite splurge. When I visited Bali I had massages 2 hours daily.
Where do you dream traveling to and why?
I would love to visit New Zealand. I think that its nature is fantastic.
State a random fact about yourself that would surprise your readers.
I have discromatopsie, so it affects the way I see color, which is challenging as a painter. I like to think that I just see the world a little differently.
