Czech automaker, Skoda is set to launch 3-4 brand new models for India market by 2021. The brand is planning to launch the long-awaited Karoq SUV in India by coming early next year. Additionally, the company’s new compact SUV based on the Kamiq SUV will also be launched in the Indian market in 2020.
The sale for Skoda Karoq in India market will start from the first quarter of 2020. The car components will be imported via a CKD route and will be assembled at the brand’s Aurangabad facility. The Karoq is built on the Volkswagen Group’s versatile MQB platform, which supports a range of models including the Skoda Kodiaq and the Volkswagen Tiguan.
