Hello author Marleta, welcome to The RV Book Fair! If you were a superhero, what powers would you have?
I can “hear” unspoken feelings when two people discuss things. I can also perceive where they are precisely misunderstanding each other in their dialogue because they are making small assumptions about what the other person just said and then they speak based upon those assumptions.
Do you hear from your readers much? What do they say?
They said my book gets right to the point in a very clear and action oriented way!
Where do you dream traveling to and why?
I want to continue to travel back to my second homeland Australia to visit my family! But I want to travel to so many other places like Spain, Ireland, Scotland, Thailand (again), Bora Bora, the Maldives, South Africa, Italy… So many more
Anything you would say to those just starting out in the craft?
I would say find your own rhythm for writing. Not all writers write at 5am before they work. I’m a weekend binge writer and that works for me!
What’s the book that changed your life?
The Road Less Travelled – M. Scott Peck
What’s the book that made you want to become an author?
My grandfather’s book, “Lest Any Man Should Boast” – William Ira Turner
What is your favorite thing about being a writer?
No one can take away what you’ve written. It becomes a part of the history of all art in the world forever!
