Zupee, an online gaming platform that features skill-based games, has announced that Salman Khan, a popular Indian actor, will be its brand ambassador. With this partnership, Zupee aims to expand its reach in the growing online gaming market and establish skill-based games as the preferred form of entertainment.
The brand launched a campaign called “10 minute mein game ho jayega” (“let’s play a game in 10 minutes”), which features Salman Khan playing a variety of games on the platform, including Ludo Supreme, Trump Cards Mania, and Snakes & Ladders Plus. The campaign highlights Zupee’s unique selling point of offering quick and convenient byte-sized games that can be enjoyed in just 10 minutes.
Dilsher Singh Malhi, the founder and CEO of Zupee, expressed excitement about the partnership and stated that Salman Khan’s mass appeal will help deepen the platform’s connection with users. He added that Salman’s fun and charming personality perfectly aligns with the brand’s ethos of providing meaningful and entertaining experiences to players.
In response, Salman Khan said that he was excited to partner with Zupee and celebrate India’s growing love for online gaming. He praised Zupee’s vision of bringing joy to people’s lives through skill-based casual and board games and expressed his enthusiasm for the campaign.
Vikram Tanwar, the co-founder of UBT, Salman Khan’s talent management company, expressed his belief that the partnership would help get more casual and board gamers on board and contribute to the growth of the online gaming industry.
The partnership was structured by UBT, conceptualized by Leo Burnett, and produced by Nirvana Films. The new campaign will be promoted through a 360-degree approach, including a soon-to-be-launched TV commercial, digital, outdoor, and social media activations.
