Coles Supermarkets Australia Pty Ltd, trading as Coles, an Australian supermarket, retail and consumer services chain, has become the latest brand to announce its withdrawal of advertising from Alan Jones’ breakfast program, along with the show’s radio network, 2GB.
Coles along with others are withdrawing their support from Jones and the network, even since he made comments on air that Prime Minister Scott Morrison should shove a sock down the throat of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Arden.
A Coles spokesperson, in a statement said, “Coles values diversity and respect and actively promotes the rights of all of our team members and our customers. We stopped advertising on the Alan Jones program on Friday 16th August and have subsequently stopped advertising on 2GB.”
