Jimmy Choo Welcomes Victoria Song as New Global Brand Ambassador

Chinese actress and singer Victoria Song has been named the global brand ambassador for the British luxury footwear and accessories brand Jimmy Choo. In addition to this prestigious role, she will also be the face of the brand’s I Want Choo fragrance line.

Victoria Song has been a significant figure for Jimmy Choo since 2018, when she was appointed brand ambassador for the Asia Pacific region. Her collaboration with Jimmy Choo’s creative director in 2019 led to the creation of a series of limited-edition bags, further solidifying her relationship with the brand.

In her new global role, Song will represent the I Want Choo fragrance line, which debuted in January 2021. The floral scent features citrus top notes of mandarin juice and velvety peach, middle notes of red spider lily and jasmine sambac, and base notes of vanilla, benzoin, and resinoid.

The Jimmy Choo fragrance arm operates under a licensing agreement with Interparfums, established in 2009. Philippe Benacin, chairman and chief executive officer of Interparfums, noted that the I Want Choo range has performed exceptionally well. The latest addition, I Want Choo Forever, is expected to generate approximately $20 million in retail sales in the U.S. during its first year on the market.

Victoria Song’s career began as a member of the K-pop girl group f(x). She has since gained mainstream popularity through her participation in numerous successful drama series and reality TV shows in both China and South Korea. Her influence has attracted the attention of several luxury brands, and she currently serves as a house ambassador for Louis Vuitton in China. Song has also collaborated with other prominent brands such as Moncler, Cartier, and Evisu.
