Chipotle has launched a brand new queso, which is made with two types of cheese and three types of pepper after their original queso launch flopped.
The brand new Queso Blanco is made up of two types of aged cheeses and incorporates Serrano, Poblano and Chipotle peppers.
According to the inside sources, it is described as having a “perfectly smooth texture and bold cheese flavour with a mild spicy heat and a smoky finish.”
Currently, Queso Blanco is available at 52 Chipotle restaurants in San Diego, Dallas, and Detroit respectively. However, the new menu item is being tested with help of the chain’s new process called “stage-gate process,” in which the company listens to customer feedback before deciding whether the product should be launched at a national level.
