Fashion designer Victoria Beckham has previewed her latest pre-Spring/Summer 2026 collection in New York City. She shared her excitement on social media, saying it was a pleasure to be back in the city and to present her new collection at Centurion New York in partnership with American Express.
This is the first time in nearly seven years that Victoria has shown her designs in New York, after focusing on London and Paris in recent years. The exclusive event took place high above the city, on the 55th floor of One Vanderbilt, offering stunning views of the Empire State and Chrysler Buildings.
Although Victoria herself was not present, her collection filled the stylish Centurion lounge, giving guests a close look at her newest designs. A brand spokesperson guided a tour of the pieces, explaining the inspiration behind the collection.
The collection featured neutral colors like black, white, and grey, with touches of mint green, deep teal, and navy. These colors were inspired by a painting by artist Francis Bacon, which had previously been displayed in her London store as part of a special art collaboration. One of the key prints in the collection—a bold white or red flower—was based on artwork by Gary Hume from Victoria’s personal collection.
Art wasn’t the only influence. Dance also played a big role in the collection’s style. Victoria, who studied ballet and musical theatre, found inspiration in French ballerina Sylvie Guillem. This influence could be seen in the mix of sharp tailoring and flowing evening dresses, described as a balance between elegance and ease.
Some highlights included tuxedo-style outfits with satin details, oversized jackets paired with skirts, and relaxed pieces like bomber jackets and jumpsuits. A standout accessory was the new double-handle “Pliè” bag and high heels with very pointy toes.
The eveningwear stood out the most, especially in such a dramatic setting. Long gowns in soft green and teal, with elegant twists and zippers, matched the classic beauty of New York’s skyscrapers outside the window. One dress featured a black fishnet material with embroidered flowers, offering a creative twist on traditional fabrics.
The private event was held for American Express Centurion card members, who also had the chance to pre-order items from the collection. The preview ended with a special conversation between fashion editor Laura Brown and guests, celebrating the return of Victoria Beckham’s designs to New York in style.
