SonyLIV takes a regional dive; the video OTT platform enters new market

BE Exclusive: ‘Living it up,’ says, SonyLIV as it takes a regional dive; the video streaming platform intends to bring back some of the popular TV shows to grab eyeballs.

With the increase in video over-the-top (OTT) platforms, SonyLIV has also decided to join the league. Currently the monthly user base on the video streaming platform ranges between 65 million-70 million. However, Sony Pictures Networks India, aims to increase its monthly active user base on video streaming platform to 100 million with the launch of 15 original shows in Tamil and Telugu.
