PepsiCo India has announced Ranveer Singh as its brand ambassador for its flagship brand Pepsi. The actor will be featured in a series of campaigns for the brand. Ranveer will be seen in Pepsi’s upcoming campaigns, which will focus on the brand’s ‘Rise Up Baby’ positioning. His association with Pepsi will encompass television commercials, digital films, outdoor and other point-of-sale initiatives.
“Rise up Baby is a youth movement that we are bringing to life in various flavours. So, one flavour is the Ranveer explosion, and there will be another burst from a Yash perspective, which is scheduled for a March end release,” said Saumya Rathor, Pepsico India’s category lead for Pepsi Cola.
The tagline of the new campaign is “Rise Up Baby”. To empower the youth of India, Singh has been roped in. The campaign plays a foot-tapping remix of the 1991 cult classic “Yahan Ke Hum Sikander”.
Saumya Rathor added that “the new campaign aims to celebrate the voices of youngsters and encourage them to rise above external validation and follow their heart. It aims to empower and celebrate today’s generation”.
