Coming off the success of her last release Made Me Cry, which caught the attention from industry critics and made it on several curated Spotify and Apple Music playlists, Latin country artist Andrea Vasquez is breaking the barrier of country music by dropping another tune just in time for CMA Music Festival. Her brand-new song, Reverse, is available on all digital streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and more.
Written by Andrea alongside singer/songwriter Taylor O’Connor and produced by Jason Bobo, Andrea had this concept in her head for quite some time. This song “is simply about replaying different parts of a relationship for different reasons,” explains Andrea. “I feel everyone can relate to this…the highs of a first date where you want to relive and the fights where you want to reverse and relive. This song was a long time coming and I’m so excited it’s finally out for everyone to hear.”
With several emerging Latin country artists getting their chance in the spotlight, Andrea is well on her way to becoming a success story that future generations of aspiring country artists who share her heritage will strive to emulate. She overcame many challenges in her career and is now breaking the mold and showing everyone what she is made of.
She is kicking off the release this Saturday, June 4, 2022 at The Listening Room in Nashville followed by a performance during CMA Music Festival on Thursday, June 9 at 3PM at the True Music Room and Bar inside The Cambria Hotel for Brickshore Media’s 615LIVE show. She has played notable shows including Whiskey Jam and recently made her Song Suffragettes debut last month, the only all-female country music singer-songwriter weekly show in Nashville.
