Irish actor Barry Keoghan has once again found himself in the spotlight, this time as the latest global brand ambassador for the prestigious British luxury fashion house, Burberry. The announcement, made on March 7, marks yet another milestone in Keoghan’s rising career, where he seamlessly blends his acting prowess with his growing influence in the world of fashion.
Having attended Burberry’s Winter 2024 show in East London, Keoghan’s selection as the face of the iconic label comes as no surprise, given his recent appearances and undeniable presence in the fashion scene. Previously seen as a guest at the 2023 Met Gala and the Summer 2024 show, Keoghan’s association with Burberry has been steadily solidifying.
The campaign unveiling Keoghan as Burberry’s brand ambassador was accompanied by a striking black-and-white photo, showcasing the actor in a classic Burberry creation—a black trenchcoat. Keoghan effortlessly embodies Burberry’s timeless elegance and modern sophistication with his intense gaze and sharp features.
Beyond his role as a fashion icon, Keoghan continues to captivate audiences with his stellar performances on screen. Currently portraying Lt. Curtis Biddick in Apple TV+’s epic World War II show, “Masters of the Air,” Keoghan’s talent shines through, further establishing him as one of the most promising actors of his generation. Notably, he graced the European premiere of the show in Burberry attire, seamlessly merging his fashion endeavours with his acting career.
Among his acclaimed works, the film “Saltburn” stands out, showcasing Keoghan’s versatility and depth as an actor. His impressive resume includes notable projects such as “The Banshees of Inisherin,” for which he received an Oscar nomination and won a BAFTA, as well as roles in “Calm With Horses” and Christopher Nolan’s “Dunkirk.”
Keoghan expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying, “I’ve been a fan of Burberry for many years now. It’s such an iconic heritage brand with innovation at its heart, and a commitment to supporting arts and culture. I’m very excited to be a part of this next chapter.”
In response, Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer, Daniel Lee, admired Keoghan’s talent, stating, “His raw, unique talent is incredibly inspiring and perfectly reflects the spirit of our brand. I am proud to welcome him to the Burberry family.”
