“I love this. Super cool to have a girl singer playing a sparkly aqua Telecaster and rocking pink hair,” – Dana Joseph, Editorial Director for Cowboys and Indians |
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Rising country artist Tera Lynne Fister has teamed up with Cowboys and Indians magazine for the exclusive premiere of the music video for her timely and powerful single I Understand (I Will Never Understand) today (Click HERE to watch). After the success of this poignant single and it getting great Spotify placement, Fister wanted to physically express the meaning behind the song. “The song is about acceptance and everyone coming together, so I wanted to show that in the video,” explains Fister. “We filmed the studio parts first, then we got some of my friends together and just had fun. This video features American Honky Tonkin’ troubadour Graham Nancarrow and new country group Chapel Hart with a special appearance from Saoirse Sue, one of Fister’s pups. “Even though the song is emotional, everyone was singing along and having a good time, which is exactly what I wanted for the video.” The video was produced and brought to life by her videographer Lexy Burke. Lexy, who is known for her viral “Serial Tipper” Tik-Toks which helped raise over $105K, has directed all of Fister’s music videos to date. During these times, there is plenty of thinking and self-searching being done. With her raspy, yet rootsy sound, Fister hopes this song travels far and wide, and enters millions of ears and hearts in this world, bestowing understanding, acceptance, and support. “We are here. We have ears to listen. We have hands to help. We have voices to raise the decibel of your needs and share your stories. And we understand, we will never understand.” I Understand (I Will Never Understand) is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and all other digital retailers.
