La Prairie, the luxury Swiss beauty brand, launched a new product at San Francisco’s DeYoung Museum, a famed fine art institution centrally located in Golden Gate Park. In order to have this launch one-of-its-kind the company launched it purposely through the lens of its historical relationship with modern art
At the launch event, President of the Americas for La Prairie, François Le Gloan pulled the connection between the contemporary and the luxury Swiss beauty brand.
Gloan in a statement said, “Art has been a source of inspiration from the very inception of the brand. Our minimalist aesthetic, the clean lines and elegant simplicity, is directly influenced by the Bauhaus German art school. La Prairie has always been at the cosmetics world forefront for both product formulation and aesthetics, which is a direct illustration of the famed Bauhaus principle: ‘form follows function’.”
