Amazon launches premium gin brand

Amazon has been vigorously pursuing the grocery market since it snapped up Wholefoods in 2017, and now it is all set to diversify it offers as it moves into the spirits market with the launch of its premium gin brand.

Premium drink Tovess is expected to retail for £24.99 and is described as an appropriate drink for fans who love to have distilled alcoholic drink, this premium gin is described to offer a ‘smooth Mediterranean taste’.

Who so ever wishes to sample the Birmingham-produced beverage will be required to present proof of age upon delivery with the e-commerce giant pledged to grow its offer with more products “… over the course of time”.
