The world’s 500 most valuable brands collectively grew by 10%, reaching a total value of $9.5 trillion in 2025—far outpacing the global economic growth rate of 3%. Notably, NVIDIA’s brand value surged by 98%, earning it a spot in the top 10 for the first time. Meanwhile, WeChat remains the world’s strongest brand for the second consecutive year.
Apple Maintains the Top Spot
Apple remains the world’s most valuable brand, with its value increasing to USD 574.5 billion for 2025. Brand Finance places Microsoft as the second most valuable brand at USD 461.1 billion, followed by Google, Amazon, and Walmart. Except for a brief moment in 2023 when it trailed Amazon, Apple has held the top position since 2021.

- DraftKings: Brand value rose from USD 18 million in 2020 to USD 5.1 billion.
- FanDuel: Brand value increased from USD 56 million in 2020 to USD 7.0 billion.
- NVIDIA: Brand value surged from USD 4.7 billion in 2020 to USD 87.9 billion.
- AMD: Brand value grew from USD 1.4 billion in 2020 to USD 11.0 billion.
- Pinduoduo: Brand value increased from USD 2.5 billion in 2020 to USD 13.0 billion.
- BYD: Brand value rose from USD 3.1 billion in 2020 to USD 14.0 billion.
- Apple: Brand value grew from USD 140.5 billion in 2020 to USD 574.5 billion.
- TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company): Brand value increased from USD 8.6 billion in 2020 to USD 34.2 billion.

Global Trends and Sector Highlights
The world’s 500 most valuable brands demonstrate resilience, with their collective value increasing 10% year-on-year. While economic growth is forecast to remain stagnant at 2.8%, the brand sector outpaces these projections. The United States dominates the rankings with 193 brands, followed by China and Germany. Banking, retail, and media sectors lead in total contributions to brand value.
