Rising Country Artists Andrea Vasquez And Molly Lovette Team Up for the Girl Power Anthem of the Summer
Rising country artists Andrea Vasquez and Molly Lovette teamed up for the ultimate girl-power anthem, Everybody’s His Type, an ode to those typical overly-flirty guys you find at bars. Everybody’s His Type is now available on all digital streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and more.
This song was written by both Latin-infused country artist Andrea Vasquez and breakout country artist Molly Lovette after sharing some funny stories, experiences, and a few too many happenstances with guys they may meet at a bar. “This song was so much fun to write as Molly and I have wanted to collaborate for a while,” says Andrea. “I had this melody of a chorus in my head but couldn’t figure out the words to put with it and that’s where Molly came in with the brilliant title and tag of ‘Everybody’s His Type.’”
“I got the idea for the song from a night out in Midtown with friends after being hit on by the same guys all night,” says Molly. “We jokingly said ‘I guess we’re just everybody’s type’ – but the more I thought about it I realized it was less about us and more about these guys just going after anybody in the bar.” These two artists are a powerhouse when it comes to their translucent vocals, fiery and upbeat modern country sound and playful, yet honest lyrics that poke fun at the familiar situation but are stunningly showcased in this release.
“We’ve had our fair share of nights out together and have experienced all of the stories wrapped up in this song in one way or another,” says Molly. This is sure to become a classic girls’ night out essential song.
