New Jersey-based Joseph Pagano has released a brand new song titled “Damned.” It is hot off the press and boasts inventive and engaging hooks. Influenced by indie-rock, this five-minute song was completed during COVID. Starting with the words, “I was looking for something I wanted to be, I was looking for someone just like me,” the music delivers insightful and passionate lyrics that interact with listeners on a deeper level. “I’m damned if I do, damned if I don’t, damned if I will, damned if I won’t,” the chorus begins with 100% relatable lines. The track was written, composed, recorded, produced, and processed at Joseph Pagano’s New Jersey studio, with Audio Mixing Mastering in the Netherlands mixing and mastering it. Indeed, the song has a distinct appeal that immediately draws in listeners.
“Damned” is a follow-up to his last single, “Take Me,” which was released in 2020. In December 2017, Joseph finished a 22-show tour across three states – New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania – where he performed songs from both his EPs released in 2015. While being likened to Keith Richards’ solo album, his first EP, Graveyard of Dreams, reached the top 5 on WGLS-FM NJ and the top 20 in two other cities. Joseph Pagano is a very skilled singer-songwriter, as evidenced by all of his songs and EPs to date. Joseph became a voting member of the Grammy’s Recording Academy (NARAS) on his tour to the US for his shows. Not only does he create beautiful songs, but he also plays numerous instruments, including guitar, ukulele, bass, keyboards, synthesizers, and drum machines, among others.
