Gucci’s unconventional advert is praised for challenging ‘ideals

Italian fashion brand Gucci chose unconventional way to promote its new lipstick via advertisement which features models with missing teeth – but some found the campaign ‘terrifying.‘

Basically the campaign for the brand’s new beauty line includes three different mouths sporting the brand’s Rouge à Lèvres Satin lip colour – but instead of their teeth, their grins reveal gaps and gnashers that are yellow in colour.

The responses on Instagram are varying as some loved pictures of model with the missing teeth and some didn’t. However, the campaign is making raise a lot of eyebrows for featuring ‘unconventionally beautiful smiles’.
