BBB launches latest house brand spans toddlers to teens

Bed Bath & Beyond launches another house brand. The new Marmalade collection launched 196 home furnishings items for toddlers, kids and tweens. Area rugs and framed canvasses allegedly make up the bulk of the debut collection that includes wallpaper, furniture, lighting, décor, tepees, a deck pillow a floor cushion.

Interim CEO, Mary Winston said, “Today, our private label penetration within Bed Bath & Beyond is well below our competitors, with a smaller percentage that is directly sourced, and therefore we have a significant opportunity for margin improvement.”

Further Winston said that one of the key focus areas of the brand is to increase the overall penetration existing private label brands such as Salt, Org, Wamsutta, Bee & Willow, Artisanal Kitchen Supply and Olivia and Oliver.
