I had the incredible privilege of hosting Anthony Razzano as a guest on The Relatable Voice Podcast. Our virtual journey together began in sunny Florida, where I picked up Anthony, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable ride. Anthony’s story is nothing short of awe-inspiring, and his unwavering resilience in the face of overwhelming adversity is genuinely remarkable.

Beyond his roles as a licensed sports agent and NFL contract advisor, Anthony is also the author of ‘Against All Odds,’ his latest book which is coming up in September.

Hello Anthony, welcome to BrandEducation! Please tell us about yourself.

I am Anthony Razzano. More than my accolades as a CPA, a licensed sports agent and a certified NFL contract advisor, I see myself as a testament to the human spirit’s tenacity, undying hope, and the miracles that faith can manifest.

Where are you from?

I am from New Castle, PA and a small town with diverse ethnic population outside of Ptiisburgh, PA. Growing up in New Castle was wonderful, the community gave me so much support watching over my trials and triumphs. I currently reside in Bradenton, Florida cherishing every moment of my second shot at life.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Beyond my professional life, I love to golf, am a fantasy football enthusiast, and a proud coach to my son’s ball teams. Cooking with my wife, enjoying the nostalgia of 70’s music, especially the soulful voice of Bill Withers, gives me pure joy.

Can you share with us a little bit about your journey?

As a young boy, my dream was the gridiron. The NFL beckoned. But life had other plans. A devastating fire left me with burns over 87% of my body. I faced death thrice, lost a hand, and received 134 pints of blood. But here’s the thing, I didn’t just survive; I thrived. I returned to the football field, this time for the New Castle Red Hurricanes. My journey has been nothing short of a miracle.

If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?

Resilient. Faithful. Determined.

What inspires you?

My strength has always been faith, the belief in a force greater than ourselves, driving us towards our destined path. 

Tell us something your readers don’t know about you.

On the surface, people see my successes, my drive. But deep down, I’m a contemplative soul, always striving to better myself and cherish the beautiful journey of life, with all its ups and downs.

How did you get into writing?

pandemic’s gloom pushed me to pen my story. I wanted to be a lighthouse for those lost in despair, to show that even in the darkest nights, dawn isn’t far behind.

What are you promoting?

My memoir, “Against All Odds”. More than just a book, it’s my heart, soul, and the distilled wisdom of my journey, woven into pages.

Can you tell us what inspired your book and what is the story behind it?

My book is inspired by every challenge I faced, every tear shed, every moment I was down but not out. It’s a tribute to never giving up.

What’s next for you?

This book is just a chapter. I plan to continue motivating and inspiring, speaking at events, mentoring, and letting the world know that every adversity carries the seed of a greater benefit.

What are your goals & aspirations?

I aim to spread a message of hope, to show that with faith and hard work, any obstacle can be overcome. Like Vince Lombardi said, “It’s not whether you get knocked down, it’s whether you get up.”
