Alia Bhatt becomes Gucci’s first Indian Global ambassador
It seems 2023 belongs to Alia Bhatt who has become the first Indian global ambassador for the world-renowned Italian luxury fashion house Gucci. She has added another feather to her cap as she becomes the first Indian Global Ambassador today.
The news was announced by Gucci on their official website and social media accounts. The Gangubai Kathiawadi star will be featured in multiple campaigns and the brand’s communication initiatives. The actor, producer and entrepreneur is set to make her Hollywood debut in Netflix’s Heart of Stone, co-starring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.
The announcement has come just after Alia Bhatt’s spectacular and successful debut at the Met Gala 2023. The actress is expected to make her first appearance as the brand’s latest global ambassador at the Gucci Cruise 2024 show, which would take place in Seoul next week.
“Alia Bhatt is the House’s newest Global Brand Ambassador. To mark the occasion, the actress, producer, and entrepreneur was captured with the Gucci Bamboo 1947 bag,” captioned Gucci on their official Instagram account.
The 30-year-old actress expressed her gratitude on her Instagram that “I’m honored to represent the house of Gucci not only in India but at a global stage. Gucci’s legacy has always inspired and intrigued me and I’m looking forward to the many sartorial milestones we create together♥️
