JAL Bath Fittings has announced actress Wamiqa Gabbi as its new brand ambassador, marking a fresh step in the company’s efforts to connect with younger, design-conscious consumers across India. The announcement comes alongside the launch of a new digital film built around the idea that good design and practical value do not have to be separate choices.
The partnership comes as JAL celebrates 37 years in the bath fittings and sanitaryware space. With Wamiqa Gabbi at the centre of its latest campaign, the brand is looking to bring its long-standing design and craftsmanship story into a more contemporary conversation.
The new digital film revolves around Rahul and Priya, a working couple whose different attitudes toward spending create a familiar everyday dilemma. Priya tends to look for experiences and aesthetics, while Rahul focuses more on practicality and getting value for money.
Their contrasting views play out through a series of situations, including an expensive coffee that fails to impress, a sofa that doesn’t live up to expectations, and a speaker that falls short of what they hoped for.
The story eventually brings them to JAL, where they discover bathroom fittings and sanitaryware that combine design, quality, and value. The campaign uses their experience to underline JAL’s central message: choosing an elegant product does not necessarily mean compromising on practicality.
The film is being promoted across JAL’s digital platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
Siddhant Kapoor, Director Marketing at JAL Bath Fittings, said that Wamiqa’s personality reflects the qualities the brand wants to communicate, including quality, elegance and confidence.
The campaign also brings together two aspects of JAL’s positioning: its focus on contemporary design and its emphasis on functional products that offer value to consumers.

Vivek Kapoor, Director, JAL Bath Fittings, described the partnership as part of the company’s broader evolution, particularly as expectations around bathroom spaces continue to change.
For her part, Wamiqa Gabbi said the spaces people live in can reflect their personalities and that JAL’s focus on products that are simple, beautiful and built to last appealed to her.
The campaign comes at a time when bathroom spaces are increasingly considered part of a home’s overall design, rather than viewed only through a functional lens. For many homeowners, fittings, sanitaryware, finishes, and layouts have become important elements of how a home looks and feels.
JAL’s association with Gabbi taps into this shift while giving the brand a familiar face for its wider communication. As part of the partnership, the actress will appear across the company’s print and outdoor campaigns in addition to the digital initiative.
For JAL, the campaign offers a way to connect its 37-year legacy with changing consumer expectations, particularly among people looking for bathroom products that combine contemporary design, functionality, and value.
