Vivo has officially launched the Vivo X300 Ultra in India, bringing one of its most photography-focused flagship smartphones to the market. Priced at ₹1,59,999 for the single 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant, the device arrives alongside the more affordable Vivo X300 FE.
The Vivo X300 Ultra is clearly built around its camera system. The phone features a triple ZEISS camera setup with three different focal lengths designed to mimic professional photography lenses. It includes a 200MP primary Sony LYTIA 901 sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 200MP telephoto lens with gimbal-style stabilisation. Vivo says the setup is designed for everything from portraits and street photography to long-range zoom shots.
Vivo also offers optional ZEISS teleconverter lenses, with 200mm and 400mm attachments, for users who want a more camera-like experience. There is also an optional Imaging Grip Kit that adds a physical shutter button, zoom controls, and an extra battery, making the phone feel more like a dedicated camera.
Powering the X300 Ultra is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. Vivo has also included a dedicated VS1+ imaging chip to improve image processing, dynamic range, and low-light photography performance.

The phone has a 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate and peak brightness up to 4,500 nits. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Netflix HDR playback.
Battery life is another key feature. The X300 Ultra has a 6,600mAh semi-solid-state battery that supports 100W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging. Vivo says it is built to last even during heavy camera and video use.
The phone runs OriginOS 6, based on Android 16, and will get five years of Android updates and seven years of security patches. It supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB 3.2, eSIM, and NavIC positioning.
The X300 Ultra comes in Eclipse Black and Victory Green. Buyers can pre-book it on Amazon, Flipkart, and Vivo’s official online store.
With its strong focus on photography hardware, pro-level accessories, and top specifications, Vivo is positioning the X300 Ultra as more than just a premium smartphone. It targets users who want a serious mobile photography device without needing a separate camera.
