Triumph Motorcycles has launched the Speed Twin 1200 TFC in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹20.99 lakh, just a day after its global debut. Only 750 units will be made worldwide, so this is a rare collector’s bike for enthusiasts.
The Speed Twin 1200 TFC is more than just a special edition with new looks. It gets real mechanical and ergonomic upgrades for a true café racer feel. Triumph has changed the riding position with clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs, giving riders a sportier stance and better handling for fun rides.
The motorcycle is equipped with premium Öhlins suspension at both the front and rear, offering adjustable preload, compression, and rebound damping. Braking performance comes from Brembo Stylema calipers, paired with a Brembo radial master cylinder and adjustable MCS brake lever for improved stopping power and precision.

The Speed Twin 1200 TFC uses Triumph’s well-known 1,200cc parallel-twin engine, which makes 104 bhp at 7,750 rpm and 112 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm. This engine is built for strong low and mid-range power, so it’s fun for both daily rides and weekend adventures. The 270-degree crankshaft gives it a unique exhaust sound, made even better by Akrapovič titanium silencers.
The six-speed gearbox includes Shift Assist, so you can change gears without using the clutch. It also matches engine revs automatically during downshifts for smoother rides. Triumph has added Cornering ABS and Cornering Traction Control to boost safety and confidence in different riding conditions.
Visually, the motorcycle stands out with its exclusive Obsidian Gold paint finish, featuring metallic gold particles that become more prominent in changing light. The dark theme is complemented by black engine covers, gold-anodised suspension components, a gold chain, and several polished carbon fibre parts, including the mudguards, heel guards, and side panels.
The solo seat is handmade with black leather and high-grip suede, and it has ribbed details and quality stitching. Each bike also gets a unique laser-etched number on the billet aluminium upper triple clamp to show its limited-edition status.

Triumph adds to the exclusivity by giving each owner a Certificate of Authenticity, a branded motorcycle cover, and a waterproof seat cover.
The bike has seven-spoke cast aluminium wheels with Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tyres. The instrument cluster mixes classic round dials with a modern LCD and colour TFT display. There’s also a handy USB-C charging port for your devices.
