This month, we’re celebrating something truly special—our 3-year anniversary. It’s incredible to think that in just three years, this magazine has grown from a simple idea into a thriving creative community spanning the globe.
Looking back, those early days were filled with hope and excitement, a desire to create a space where stories could be shared and diverse voices could be heard. We set out to build more than just a magazine; we wanted to build a family, a network of writers, artists, and readers who inspire each other, challenge each other, and grow together. Today, as we turn three, we’re proud to say that dream is alive and thriving, thanks to you.
Three years might not sound like a long time in the grand scheme of things, but let’s put it in perspective. In three years, a baby is born, takes their first steps, says their first words, and begins to explore the world around them with wide-eyed wonder. In just that same amount of time, we’ve nurtured this magazine from a small spark of an idea into a thriving platform that connects authors, artists, and readers across the globe. It’s amazing how much can grow and flourish in just three years—with patience, passion, and a supportive community.
August is here, bringing the warmth of summer and a special moment to reflect on how far we’ve come. Since our very first issue, we’ve had the joy of meeting incredible creatives—writers, poets, artists, and dreamers—who have shared their stories, their insights, and their passion with us. Every issue has been a building block in this shared journey, and it’s all thanks to you, our loyal readers and contributors, who keep this creative flame burning bright.
Our cover star this month is the wonderfully talented Mandy Eve-Barnett. Mandy is a multi-genre author, freelance writer, and writing community advocate who has become an indispensable part of the RV family. As a regular columnist and our Scouting Manager, she continuously inspires us with her creativity, dedication, and her ability to lift up fellow writers. Having Mandy grace our cover this month feels like celebrating one of the very heartbeats of our magazine.
This issue also invites you on a vibrant journey to Indonesia, seen through the eyes of the gifted Loui Area. Loui’s storytelling paints the rich colors, diverse culture, and warm people of this beautiful country with such vividness that you can almost hear the bustling markets and feel the tropical breeze.
To mark our anniversary, we reached out to some of the amazing authors who have been part of this journey from the very start. Reconnecting with them feels like catching up with old friends—sharing their latest creations and hearing their stories about growth and change over the years. It’s a reminder that just like this magazine, our creative community is alive, evolving, and full of promise.
