Philips India has named actor Rasha Thadani as the new brand ambassador for its hair styling products. This move aims to help the brand connect better with younger people across the country.
The partnership was announced together with Philips’ new digital campaign film, “Designed for Indian Hair.” The film shows how the company creates styling solutions made for Indian hair types and daily needs.
The digital film uses a creative ‘Indian hair court’ setting to show common hair problems like humidity, heat, hard water, and genetics as if they are on trial. The campaign uses a fun story to explain why styling tools should be made for local conditions, so they work well and keep hair healthy. Rasha Thadani appears in the film as the Philips Hair Expert, guiding viewers through the brand’s innovative approach and modern styling solutions.
Showcasing Philips’ Styling Portfolio
The campaign features several products from Philips’ advanced hair styling range, including:

- Hydrating hair dryer
- One Stroke Straightener
- 2-in-1 Airstyler
Each product is designed to simplify styling and help keep hair healthy.
Smit Shukla, Country Head of Philips Personal Health, said that hair styling in India faces its own challenges due to the climate and diverse hair types.
“Our campaign brings this idea to life in a fresh and engaging way,” he said. “Rasha adds a modern voice that connects with Gen Z and young millennials.”
Rasha Thadani said she is excited to join the brand and was drawn to Philips because of its strong understanding of hair care.
