OnePlus is celebrating its 12th anniversary in India with a powerful new brand initiative. The company has brought together six remarkable personalities from different fields to represent its spirit of performance, creativity, and continuous evolution.
The new brand ambassadors include Jasprit Bumrah, Smriti Mandhana, Jonathan, Armaan Malik, Kush Maini, and Nitanshi Goel. Each of them comes from a unique world: cricket, gaming, music, motorsport, and cinema, and together they reflect the diverse, energetic community that OnePlus has built over the years.
To introduce the ambassadors, OnePlus has launched a six-part film series titled “Power On. Limits Off.”
The idea behind the campaign is simple but powerful: even the strongest performers grow through their quiet moments, not just the ones in the spotlight.
Each short film explores a personal part of the ambassadors’ journeys:
- coming back after an injury,
- handling criticism,
- preparing for high-pressure moments,
- finding courage to change,
- and trusting the process even when no one is watching.
These themes connect directly with what the brand stands for, pushing boundaries, staying resilient, and never settling for anything less than excellence.
The films were conceptualized internally by OnePlus and produced by Kameron, a creative team based in Helsinki, giving the series a cinematic and introspective feel.
According to Ishita Grover, Director of Marketing at OnePlus India, this moment is special. She explains that as the brand celebrates 12 strong years in India, partnering with such a diverse group of high achievers reflects OnePlus’s own identity, a blend of performance, talent, and cutting-edge technology.
Each ambassador represents a different kind of excellence:
- Jasprit Bumrah brings discipline, strategy, and calm strength.
- Smriti Mandhana symbolizes consistency and grace under pressure.
- Jonathan captures the fast-paced energy of India’s gaming community.
- Armaan Malik embodies creativity and reinvention through music.
- Kush Maini represents precision, speed, and ambition on the race track.
- Nitanshi Goel adds the freshness and drive of the next generation of Indian actors.
Together, they highlight the many ways people push their limits in real life, just as OnePlus pushes performance through technology.
Cricketer Jasprit Bumrah, known for his quiet determination and unmatched work ethic, said that pushing limits is a deeply personal process. For him, partnering with OnePlus felt natural because the brand also embodies a mindset of constant evolution in a fast-changing world.
Musician Armaan Malik described the campaign as a representation of creative courage, the desire to innovate without holding back. He said OnePlus devices share the same vision of pushing boundaries and enabling people to grow.
The introduction of the new ambassadors and the film series is part of a larger moment for OnePlus. The brand is preparing to unveil its next major devices, the OnePlus 15R and the OnePlus Pad Go 2—at its “Rise as One” event in Bengaluru on December 17.
The event will also be open to fans, who can book tickets through BookMyShow, marking a community-focused celebration of OnePlus’s anniversary in India.
