OnePlus 15T has officially launched in China, and it’s clear the company is focusing on performance and battery power with this model. Although there’s no word yet on an India launch, the device is already generating excitement for its features.
The OnePlus 15T is a compact flagship with a 6.32-inch AMOLED display, a bit smaller than many current flagships. What really stands out is its 165Hz refresh rate, which makes scrolling smoother and gaming more responsive.
Performance is a major focus. The phone uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, one of the newest processors out there. OnePlus also includes an “E-Sports Triple-Core” system, which has a dedicated chip for touch response and a special Wi-Fi chip to boost gaming performance and stability.
Battery life is a standout feature of the 15T. It has a huge 7,500mAh battery, much bigger than most flagship phones. It also supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, so users won’t have to worry about running out of power during the day.
The camera setup is straightforward but reliable. It has two 50MP rear cameras, a main sensor and a telephoto lens with optical zoom. For selfies, there’s a 16MP front camera. It might not have as many lenses as some competitors, but it focuses on quality over quantity.
In China, the OnePlus 15T starts at about ₹58,000 and goes up to ₹78,000 depending on the model. It offers several configurations, with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
OnePlus hasn’t announced anything for India yet. But since the main OnePlus 15 series is already available there, the 15T might come later. If it does, it will probably attract users who want a powerful phone that’s a bit smaller, especially gamers and those who value long battery life.
Overall, the OnePlus 15T shows that the brand is focusing on users who want strong performance. Instead of trying to do everything, it clearly aims for speed, long battery life, and smooth daily use.
