Nothing has officially launched its new smartphone lineup in India, introducing the Nothing Phone 4a and Nothing Phone 4a Pro. The London-based brand also unveiled its latest audio product, the Nothing Headphone a, at the global launch event.
The new Nothing Phone 4a starts at ₹31,999 in India. The base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs ₹31,999, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB version costs ₹34,999. The top variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is available for ₹37,999.
The smartphone features a large 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS flexible AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It can reach a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and includes 2,160Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and the phone has an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance.
One of the standout features of the device is the redesigned Glyph lighting system. The new Glyph Bar uses 63 mini LEDs and can reach up to 3,500 nits of brightness. These lights work for notifications, charging indicators, and other alerts that make Nothing phones visually unique.
On the performance side, the Nothing Phone 4a runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. It supports up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone runs Nothing OS 4.1, based on Android 16, and the company promises three years of software updates and six years of security patches.
The phone has a large 5,400mAh battery and supports 50W wired fast charging, so it should easily last a full day on a single charge.
In the camera department, the phone features a triple rear camera system. It includes a 50MP Samsung GN9 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP Sony ultra wide camera. For selfies and video calls, the phone offers a 32MP front camera and supports 4K video recording at 30 frames per second.
The Nothing Phone 4a Pro features a redesigned body, swapping the transparent back from earlier models for a sleek metal build. It also comes with the advanced Glyph Matrix lighting system.
The new devices will be available for purchase through Flipkart and Nothing’s offline store in Bengaluru. With upgraded performance, improved design, and the brand’s signature lighting features, the Phone 4a series aims to strengthen Nothing’s presence in India’s competitive smartphone market.
