TVS Motor Company is preparing to bring the new Norton Atlas motorcycle range to India by mid-2026. The Atlas lineup, which includes the Atlas and Atlas GT models, was recently showcased at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, along with the Manx and Manx R. These bikes are also expected to appear at TVS MotoSoul 2025, scheduled for December 5–6.
Manufactured in India for a Competitive Price
The Norton Atlas range will be built at TVS Motor’s Hosur plant, which should help keep prices competitive. The bikes will debut in Europe in April 2026, followed by the India launch a few months later. The starting price is expected to be around ₹5 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model.
Engine and Performance
The Norton Atlas will use a new 585cc parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crank. This engine is believed to be based on the 420cc twin-cylinder platform from the TVS–BMW collaboration, with a larger bore and stroke for increased power. It will be paired with a six-speed gearbox.

Two Variants: Standard and GT
The Atlas lineup will include:
- Standard Variant – Designed for rougher terrain with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup and tubeless spoke wheels.
- Atlas GT – A more touring-friendly version with 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends.
Features
Norton is equipping the Atlas with a strong set of features, including:
- TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth
- Multiple ride modes
- Cornering ABS
- Traction control
- Cruise control
- LED projector headlamps with cornering function
In India, the Norton Atlas will compete with motorcycles like the Kawasaki Versys 650, Triumph Tiger 660, and BMW F 450 GS, depending on price and capability.
Combining Norton’s heritage with TVS’s manufacturing strength, the Atlas range is one of the most anticipated motorcycle launches of 2026.
