Muskaan Deol’s artistic journey spans cultures, continents and some of the most creative cities in the world. Born and raised in Mumbai, India, the Los Angeles–based singer-songwriter has made a place for herself in LA’s emerging music scene. Her path reflects her qualities that shines through her world as she continues to write and release original music.
Muskaan fell in love with music when she was a kid and started her vocal training & completed all 8 grades of Trinity College London’s Pop & Rock exam. Muskaan’s passion for music and acting led her to the United States at the age of 18 where she began her formal training in New York. She graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, New York with an Associate’s Degree in Musical Theatre. She then moved to Los Angeles to complete her education at the AMDA College of the Performing Arts, where she graduated with a BFA in Performing Arts.
She released her debut single shortly after graduating in August 2025. Her debut single, “In Your Arms I Overdose,” introduced audiences to her soulful, atmospheric approach to songwriting blending vulnerability with emotional depth. Her debut single was followed by “Medusa,” a song that showcased a darker, more introspective side of her artistry, exploring themes of feminine rage, justice, and self-discovery. Together, these songs offer a glimpse into Muskaan’s evolving sound: cinematic, intimate, and anchored in honest storytelling.
Muskaan is currently working on releasing new music. She is building up towards releasing an EP that reflects her artistry, experiences and global journey. Beyond the recording studio, Muskaan is also planning future live performances in Los Angeles, aiming to create immersive moments that bring her music to life.
Today, Muskaan is fully based in Los Angeles, dedicating herself to crafting songs that reflect her experiences, emotions, and evolution as an artist. Her work blends sincerity with melodic sensitivity, offering listeners an intimate glimpse into her world. With each release, she continues to refine her sound, embracing the creative freedom that comes with being an independent artist in one of the most influential music cities in the world.
