Motorola has expanded its popular G-series lineup in India with the launch of the Moto G06 Power, an entry-level smartphone packed with big features. The phone, unveiled on October 7, 2025, brings together a huge battery, stylish design, and useful AI-powered tools, all at an affordable price starting from ₹7,499.
The Moto G06 Power comes with a 6.88-inch display, the largest ever on a Moto G phone. It offers a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 600 nits brightness, making it perfect for watching videos or playing games in any lighting condition. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, ensuring durability against scratches and drops.
One of the biggest highlights of the device is its massive 7,000 mAh battery, which promises up to two days of power on a single charge. The phone also includes a 20W charger in the box for quick recharging. Motorola claims that the battery will retain more than 80% of its health even after 1,000 charging cycles, meaning users can rely on it for years.
Powering the Moto G06 Power is the MediaTek G81 Extreme processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. However, users can expand the RAM virtually up to 12GB with RAM Boost, and the storage can be increased up to 1TB using a microSD card. It runs on Android 15 with Motorola’s My UX interface, offering a clean and user-friendly experience.
For photography, the smartphone features a 50 MP main rear camera with AI-based enhancements for sharper and more vibrant images. There’s also an 8 MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Google Photos editing tools are integrated into the system, making photo enhancements quick and easy.
On the design front, Motorola has gone for a premium vegan leather finish with Pantone-validated colours: Tapestry, Laurel Oak, and Tendril, giving the phone a classy and modern appearance. It’s also IP64-rated for protection against dust and water splashes, and includes Dolby Atmos stereo speakers for an immersive audio experience.
The Moto G06 Power also includes smart AI features like Circle to Search with Google, which allows users to search anything on screen by circling it, and Google Gemini, a built-in AI assistant for everyday tasks.
With its blend of style, power, and smart features, the Moto G06 Power offers incredible value for money in the budget smartphone segment. It will be available for purchase starting October 11 on Flipkart, Motorola’s website, and major retail stores across India.
Motorola’s latest launch shows that even affordable phones can deliver a premium experience, and the Moto G06 Power is proof of that.
