Motorola has expanded its 2026 smartphone lineup with the launch of the Moto G Max, a new mid-range 5G phone that focuses on performance, battery life, and longer software support. Priced at Rs 27,999, the device sits in the competitive sub-Rs 30,000 segment, where it will compete with phones from Redmi and Vivo.
The Moto G Max will be available in three satin-finish colours: PANTONE Stargazer, PANTONE Alaskan Blue, and PANTONE Malaga.
Price and sale date
Motorola is offering the Moto G Max in a single 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant for Rs 27,999.
The first sale begins on August 20 at 12 PM. Buyers using ICICI or Axis Bank credit cards can receive an instant Rs 1,000 discount, bringing the effective launch price down to Rs 26,999.
Display, performance and battery
The phone features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It also comes with MIL-STD-810H durability and an IP64 rating, making it resistant to dust and light water splashes.
Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storagefor faster app loading and smoother multitasking. Motorola positions the chipset as a strong performer for everyday use and mobile gaming.
A major highlight is the 7,000mAh battery, supported by 30W fast charging, offering extended usage without frequent charging.

The Moto G Max includes:

On the software side, it runs Hello UI based on Android 16. Motorola has promised two Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates, an improvement over many previous Moto G models that offered only one major OS update.
