After months of speculation and spy shots, Maruti Suzuki has finally unveiled the much-awaited Victoris SUV. Positioned between the Brezza and the Grand Vitara in Maruti’s lineup, the Victoris is being introduced through the Arena chain of showrooms. Bookings are already open for a token amount of ₹11,000, and the SUV promises to bring a mix of style, safety, and comfort.
The Victoris will be available in four main variants – LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi Plus – with the ZXi and ZXi Plus also offering optional (O) sub-variants. Here’s a closer look at what each trim has on offer.
Maruti Victoris LXi
The base-spec LXi may be the entry point, but it comes packed with safety and essentials. Standard features include six airbags, ESP, traction control, hill-hold assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and rear parking sensors. On the comfort front, it offers auto climate control with rear AC vents, a 7-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, push-button start/stop, and steering-mounted controls. Externally, the SUV gets halogen headlamps, LED tail lamps, steel wheels with covers, and skid plates. This makes the LXi a practical, value-driven option for budget-conscious buyers.
Maruti Victoris VXi
Moving up, the VXi trim adds more style and convenience. Design upgrades include body-coloured ORVMs and door handles, roof rails, and connected LED tail lamps. Inside, you get chrome door handles, illuminated glovebox, footwell lighting, and vanity mirrors. Tech upgrades include a 10.25-inch all-digital driver’s display (for strong-hybrid), cruise control, paddle shifters (AT only), Alexa connectivity, and connected car tech. Safety is enhanced with a rear parking camera and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Overall, the VXi is the sweet spot for those who want extra comfort without stretching too far on budget.
Maruti Victoris ZXi
The ZXi variant brings premium styling and features. It upgrades the lighting to auto-LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, and LED fog lamps. Alloy wheels replace steel ones, and the cabin gets soft-touch materials, leatherette upholstery, and bronze accents for the hybrid version. Added features include a powered tailgate with gesture control, wireless charging, auto-dimming IRVM, and rear wiper/washer. Buyers opting for the ZXi (O) can also enjoy a panoramic sunroof, which is not available in the top-spec ZXi Plus.
Maruti Victoris ZXi Plus
The fully loaded ZXi Plus is designed for buyers who want everything. It comes with machine-cut alloy wheels, ventilated front seats, 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, 64-colour ambient lighting, heads-up display, air purifier, and an upgraded 10.1-inch infotainment system with 8-speaker Infinity sound system and Dolby Atmos. Safety is top-notch with Level-2 ADAS (adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist), 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, and hill-descent control for AWD models. With terrain modes and AWD capability, the ZXi Plus is perfect for enthusiasts looking for performance along with luxury.
Powertrain Options
The Victoris offers three engine choices:
- 1.5L petrol with mild-hybrid (103 PS, 139 Nm) – with 5-speed MT or 6-speed AT.
- 1.5L strong-hybrid petrol (116 PS combined) – with e-CVT and best-in-class mileage of 28.65 kmpl.
- 1.5L petrol + CNG (88 PS, 121.5 Nm) – with 5-speed MT.
AWD is available only on the ZXi Plus automatic.
Launch and Pricing
The Maruti Victoris is expected to launch around Diwali 2025, with an estimated starting price of ₹9.75 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will compete with popular compact SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, Citroen Aircross, and Maruti’s own Grand Vitara.
With a feature-loaded lineup across all trims, multiple engine choices, and strong hybrid tech, the Victoris could become a game-changer in India’s compact SUV market.
