Mamaearth, a personal care brand, has named actor Sreeleela as its new hair care brand ambassador. The company also launched a digital campaign for its Rosemary Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo, just before Valentine’s Day.
The campaign film uses a light and relatable tone to address hair fall, avoiding exaggerated makeovers or dramatic promises. It is set in a cricket stadium, where a playful Kiss Cam moment features Sreeleela and dancer-actor Shantanu Maheshwari. The private moment becomes public when loose strands of hair appear on the stadium screen, highlighting a common concern for many viewers.
The story then presents Mamaearth’s rosemary shampoo as a regular, everyday solution instead of a miracle cure. The film ends with Sreeleela returning with fuller-looking hair, supporting the brand’s message about consistent, ingredient-focused care.
The campaign shows hair fall in familiar, real-life situations like moments of confidence, closeness, and being in public, making the issue feel genuine instead of exaggerated. This matches Mamaearth’s overall strategy of connecting its products to daily routines and honest stories.
Sreeleela said she related to the campaign’s realistic tone and its choice not to exaggerate a common problem. She also mentioned that Mamaearth’s focus on carefully selected, natural ingredients with proven results made the partnership feel genuine and meaningful to her.
Snigdha Anand, SVP and Brand Head of Marketing at Mamaearth, said the campaign aims to tell a story that audiences can easily recognize. She explained that choosing Sreeleela as ambassador is a strategic way to connect more with younger, changing consumers, while still focusing on effective, ingredient-based hair care.
The campaign is launching across digital and social media platforms to help Mamaearth strengthen its position in the competitive hair care market.
