Kawasaki has launched the new Z1100 supernaked motorcycle in India at ₹12.79 lakh (ex-showroom). It features a stronger engine, new features, and updated styling, making it a clear step up from the Kawasaki Z1000.
The Z1100 joins a competitive segment and goes up against the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP, which costs ₹13.29 lakh.
Aggressive Sugomi Design
The Kawasaki Z1100 keeps the bold, muscular style that Z-series fans appreciate. Its Sugomi design gives it a sharp, aggressive look. Key design features include:
- Twin-pod LED headlamps
- Sharply sculpted fuel tank
- Pointed, aggressive tail section
- Overall predator-like styling that stands out on the road
Modern Features & Advanced Electronics
Kawasaki has added several new features to the Z1100 to boost performance and make riding easier. One highlight is the five-inch full-color TFT display, which lets riders use different electronic aids.

Powerful 1,099cc Engine
The Z1100 runs on a 1,099cc inline-four liquid-cooled engine, the same one found in the Ninja 1100SX. It produces:
- 136 bhp
- 113 Nm of torque
The bike has an aluminium frame from the Ninja 1100SX and fully adjustable Showa suspension for better handling and comfort. It uses Tokico brakes and rides on Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tyres.
Competition
In India, the Kawasaki Z1100’s main rival in the supernaked segment is the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP.
