Ignyte, a premium helmet brand from Steelbird Hi Tech India Ltd, has launched its latest high-protection model, the IGN 16. Starting at Rs 5,999, this helmet is designed to give Indian riders a mix of safety, comfort, and modern style.
A standout feature of the IGN 16 is its EPP multi-impact technology paired with Kevlar reinforcement. Kevlar, also used in bulletproof jackets and military helmets, adds extra strength against sharp objects and impacts. The helmet’s outer shell uses a PC ABS blend for durability, while the EPP liner absorbs shocks and regains its shape, offering long-lasting protection from repeated impacts.
The IGN 16’s interior is made for comfort and hygiene during long rides. It uses breathable, antimicrobial, and anti-allergic fabrics, and the padding can be removed and washed. The helmet also has a high-quality polycarbonate visor with an anti-scratch coating, UV protection, and a Pinlock 30 insert to stop fogging in any weather.
The helmet features a sporty, aerodynamic shape with vents across the shell for better airflow. It has vortex generators and a rear spoiler to improve stability at high speeds. Riders can pick between two tested retention systems: the Double D Ring or the Micrometric Buckle. The IGN 16 is certified by both ISI and DOT, meeting Indian and American safety standards.
Ignyte includes several helpful accessories with the IGN 16. Each box comes with a smoke visor and protective cover, a balaclava, sports cheek pads, extra fitting pads, and a small model that shows how the EPP technology works.
At the launch, Kashish Kapur, director of Ignyte, said the IGN 16 combines strong multi-impact protection and Kevlar reinforcement to help riders feel more confident on the road. He also said the helmet shows the brand’s commitment to advanced safety and premium design.
With this launch, Ignyte wants to strengthen its place in India’s growing riding gear market by offering new safety features and a design that attracts both daily riders and motorcycle fans.
