Bajaj has launched the new Dominar 400, a bold and powerful upgrade for India’s sports touring fans. With a new price tag of ₹2.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 2025 model is just ₹6,000 more expensive than the previous version, but packs in a lot more.
What’s New?
One of the biggest highlights of the updated Dominar 400 is the all-new LCD display, giving riders clear and sharp information on the go. It also features a bonded digital speedometer with a special flap to improve visibility in all conditions.
Ride Like Never Before
The new Dominar comes with four distinct riding modes: Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road. These modes allow the bike to adapt to different terrains and riding styles:
- Road: Smooth and stable ride for everyday use
- Rain: Limited power and safer braking for wet roads
- Sport: Sharper throttle response and stronger braking
- Off-Road: More torque and better control on tough terrains
These can be selected using new switchgear, making it easy to change modes on the move.
Whether you’re sprinting down a highway or touring the hills, the Dominar 400 is built for comfort and performance. It features a redesigned handlebar for improved posture and comfort on long rides. Plus, a new rear carrier with built-in GPS mount makes it tour-ready right from the showroom.
Factory-fitted touring accessories include a tall visor, hand guards, bash plate, USB charging port, leg guard, saddle stays, and more. This makes it one of the most travel-friendly bikes in its segment.
Power & Performance
At the heart of the Dominar 400 is a 373.3cc DOHC liquid-cooled engine that delivers 29.4 kW (40 PS) at 8800 rpm and 35 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. A 6-speed gearbox with assist & slipper clutch ensures smooth shifts and better control.
The bike also offers:
- USD front forks and Nitrox monoshock at the rear
- Dual-channel ABS with 320mm front and 230mm rear discs
- Full LED headlamp with Auto Headlamp On (AHO)
- Electronic Traction Control (ETC) for added safety in Sport and Off-Road modes
