Ai+ has expanded its smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the Nova 2 Neo 5G and Nova 2 Pro 5G, two new devices aimed at buyers looking for feature-rich smartphones under ₹20,000. The new handsets combine high-refresh-rate displays, large batteries, 5G connectivity, and Android 16-based software while targeting students, professionals, content creators, and everyday users.
The smartphones will go on sale from June 26 through Flipkart and select retail stores across the country.
Ai+ Nova 2 Neo 5G
The Ai+ Nova 2 Neo 5G starts at ₹12,999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant, while the 6GB + 128GB model is priced at ₹13,999.
The smartphone features a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 600 nits of brightness. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, designed to deliver smooth day-to-day performance for multitasking, streaming, and casual gaming.
For photography, the device features a 48MP Sony IMX582 primary camera, along with an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
A 6,000mAh battery keeps the phone running throughout the day and supports 18W fast charging. Additional features include an IP65 rating, a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, a dedicated microSD card slot supporting up to 2TB of expandable storage, and the company’s AI Key for quick access to AI-powered features.
Ai+ Nova 2 Pro 5G
The more premium Ai+ Nova 2 Pro 5G starts at ₹15,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model, while the 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at ₹17,999. Buyers can also avail of an instant ₹1,000 bank discount during the launch offer.
The Pro model upgrades to a larger 6.9-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits brightness, offering a smoother viewing experience for gaming and multimedia.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, paired with a 48MP Sony IMX582 primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, offering users greater flexibility when capturing photos.
Like the Neo model, the Pro packs a 6,000 mAh battery but supports faster 33W charging. One of its standout features is the customisable notification lights integrated into the rear panel, allowing users to personalise visual alerts.
Both smartphones run nxtOS based on Android 16 and include the company’s NxtPrivacy Dashboard, along with AI-powered features designed to improve productivity and privacy.
Availability
The Ai+ Nova 2 Neo 5G and Nova 2 Pro 5G will be available from June 26 at 12 PM via Flipkart and authorised retail outlets across India.
Looking Beyond the Specifications
Competition in India’s sub-₹20,000 smartphone segment has intensified, with buyers expecting premium features at affordable prices. High-refresh-rate displays, large batteries, and capable 5G processors are quickly becoming standard rather than premium additions.
